So, our 2 1/2 month old rolled over last night (from back to tummy) in his bed for the first time! He was sooo excited, he woke up SCREAMING at 3:30am to show me. Boo for an early wake up call, but hooray for rolling over!! I kinda thought it might be a fluke, but he rolled over AGAIN (from tummy to back this time) during tummy time this morning.
The only bad thing is that it means no more swaddle for naps or bedtime. Such a bummer!! I truly believe that the swaddle is why Tyler has been a decent sleeper even though he is still so little. But, babies need their arms for leverage when they start rolling over. We are going to slowly ween him off the swaddle with one arm out, then both, then transition to a sleep sack.

Because he's no longer in a swaddle, he can now wear long pjs to bed for the first time! It was just too hot to have him in anything other than a onesie and the swaddle. I just love my little smiling froggy!! :)
