We are SO thankful!

We had a BIG time in Louisville this year for Thanksgiving! It was Tyler's first time to go out of state and first time to meet many of his aunts, uncles and cousins on my side of the family. Thanksgiving has always been a big deal and is sort of like a family reunion tradition where we all get together and celebrate. We have about 40-50 people there so it is a crazy good time.

Tyler did great on the car ride there, sleeping most of the way. As soon as we walked in the door, he was the center of attention! It has been 4 years since our family has had a baby in the house for Thanksgiving, so there was a lot of fuss over him. (Although we are excited to meet and play with 2 new baby cousins next year!) Tyler was in the best mood all day and was happy to be held and played with by everyone. He even took an hour and a half long afternoon nap...wow! Plus, he was so tired he slept the whole 3 hours back to Clarksville, too.

We had the BEST time ever and it really makes me wish we lived closer to all our family. I hope Tyler will look forward to Thanksgivings in Louisville every year like my brother and I always did as kids. Hoping to go back in May for another visit for Derby weekend.

Mesmerized by all the food...and not so much by Uncle Frankie!
He did not know what to think of all his cousins!

Aunt Carol is so funny!
