The rest of Thanksgiving weekend was spent in Clarksville at my Mom's house. We were pretty lazy and stayed in pajamas or bumming around clothes most of the time. It was a nice change from all the driving we had done the previous 2 days. We watched movies and a lot of football. We also ate A TON, as my Mom cooked a second Thanksgiving meal on Friday for us to enjoy. We are still eating on the leftovers!
Of course, Tyler was the big source of entertainment and it was nice to spend a lot of time with him without other things to do. He is getting really good at tummy time now and is sitting up for a few seconds unassisted before he topples over. One of the most fun moments was at the dinner table on Friday night. Tyler was next to us in the bouncy seat and was just giggling and laughing almost uncontrollably! It was so funny, he had the entire table laughing at how tickled he was getting. I included some of my favorite pictures from the weekend...you will see that we broke out the Christmas clothes since Thanksgiving was technically over.

We left for Memphis later than we planned on Saturday afternoon because Russ got a bad stomach virus that kept him up most of the night. And since I actually wasn't feeling too good either, Brian drove the 3 of us back to Memphis. Well, it was an eventful car ride, because Tyler got sick twice on the way home! The first time was before we even got out of the Clarksville city limits. So we pulled over, I changed him and cleaned up his seat as best I could and we were back on our way. The second time was about 30 miles outside of Memphis and it was a BIG one. There was sick everywhere and it was so disgusting!! But since he went right back to sleep, we just drove the rest of the way. Haha! Once we got home, Tyler went straight into the bathtub and the car seat was washed from top to bottom. Ugh!
He was SUPER fussy the next day, so we didn't get any Christmas decorations up as I had planned. Plus, Russ was still sick, too. Oh well. Maybe it'll happen this weekend. For now, I still have Halloween up at our house!!
