Kindermusik birthday fun

We have lots of little friends with birthdays in January. This weekend we celebrated sweet Christopher who turned 2 at his Kindermusik party. I have been friends with Christopher's Mommy, Kathryn, since high school and we became sorority sisters in college. His Daddy, James, is a fraternity brother of Russ's. We were excited to have boys close in age so they can be buddies, too.

We have taken Tyler to Kindermusik only one other time and I was not a fan. But, I think he was too young then. He was still the youngest at this party, but once he warmed up (we had to wake him from his nap to go), he had a great time! He enjoyed the musical instruments, bubbles, balls and especially the hula hoops and flag streamers. He even got upset a few times when it was time to put things away and move to the next thing. He was very curious about crawling into the hula hoop tunnel, but would never try it. Apparently Christopher didn't try it the first time he went, so maybe next time. Tyler also got very distraught when the balls would fall out of the parachute and when he couldn't find a handle to hold when we were walking in a circle. We finished the party with lots of yummy snacks and Daddy, especially, was exhausted after chasing Tyler around!

They were supposed to put them on the floor
and jump into them, but Tyler wasn't having that!

Birthday Boy, Christopher!!
