We went to Members Night at the Zoo this weekend. We got there right when it started so we could do the Birds and Bees exhibit before it got too crowded. We did this last summer, but Tyler was really too small to appreciate it. It took awhile to get the birds interested in our food, but we eventually got a couple to eat from our feeding stick and Tyler thought it was awesome!

| Looking for birds to feed |
| He got one and thought it was great!! |
| This pretty blue bird also wanted to eat! |
| He kept trying to sneak his hand up to touch him and eventually the bird flew away! |
We also decided to feed the giraffes. Again, this is something we have done before, but seeing how excited Tyler was feeding the birds, we knew we had to do it again. This was by far his favorite thing that we did. He was super brave and fed the giraffes by himself, giggling the entire time! I wish I would've gotten a video, but these pictures do a good job showing his excitement.

| This sweet baby giraffe was so friendly while we were waiting our turn to feed. |
| Tyler LOVED the baby and it was hard to pull him away! |
| No fear!! |
| He would snatch his hand away and giggle as soon as the giraffe got a hold of the lettuce. |
| See how close the giraffe got...she was snuggling right up to Russ to get to Tyler and the food! |
We tried Stingray Bay...a new exhibit that allows you to touch stingrays and sharks...but Tyler was not interested in being held over the water to try to touch them. So that was pretty much an epic fail! Russ though it was pretty cool though, so we will probably try it again sometime.
We ended the night by riding the train and seeing the tigers and lions, at Tyler's request! It was a fun, but exhausting night!
