The Saturday before Christmas, we took Tyler to see the light displays set up along the Cumberland River in Clarksville. We had wanted to take him to see lights in Memphis before we left town, but just did not get to it. Every night on our drive home from daycare, he constantly yells "LIGHTS!" all the way down Kirby as he points out all the Christmas lights he sees. So, I thought he would love going.
Waiting until we got to Clarksville actually worked out better because it was free and you could walk around to see them all. Tyler enjoyed running to see them and we all struggled at times to keep up with him ...I mean, we were on the edge of a river and there were tons of people around! Ha! Although it was REALLY cold outside, it was a good night to get out of the house before the rest of the family got into town. I think we will definitely make this a tradition.
