Hallelujah!! Tyler is sleeping through the night!

This is such big news it deserves its own post! Tyler has slept through the night for at least 10 hours for 8 nights in a row! WAHOO!! It only took 6 months!  And I am sure that he will probably regress now that I put this in writing. (But tonight is Daddy's night, so that's ok. Hahaha!)

Let's recap your sleeping progress, shall we? We thought we hit the jackpot when you slept in your crib at a month old and gave us 5 hours of  uninterrupted sleep. Little did we know it would not progress much until now. Many long nights followed...when we had to break you from your swaddle early at 2 1/2 months when you rolled over. When I was getting up to nurse you every night until you were 5 months old. When we started the sleeping-in-the-swing bad habit around 3 months because you wouldn't sleep in your crib. When we moved your bedtime up (because mom was going back to work), so your night time wake up call changed to 2a. Ugh. When you got sick and so congested at 4 months that you woke up every hour because you couldn't breathe laying flat in your crib. When we started giving you your paci when you woke up instead of feeding you in the middle of the night at 5 months. When you teased us by sleeping through the night one time but didn't do it again for another month! Double ugh! When we did CIO (cry it out) and did not come and get you until morning.

What a journey it has been! Your mom and dad are THRILLED and are SO PROUD of you. Keep it up...please! Haha!
