On our Way to the Beach!

The Brasfields are headed to the beach! It's our first family trip together and to the beach since Tyler's been born. The last time we came, I was 33 weeks pregnant with Tyler. Now Tyler will be 16 months this week and I am 22 weeks pregnant with Baby Girl. Crazy to think about! Needless to say, we were LONG overdue for a family vacation!

Packing was way more challenging this year because of the all stuff a kid requires. Pack n Play, highchair, beach toys, regular toys and books, and the list goes on! Not to mention all the regular beach things like towels and chairs. Luckily, we invested in a luggage bag for the top of Pilot earlier this year so everything fit.

The trip took us over 9 hours, but we took our time and stopped several times, for Tyler's benefit and mine - the doctor said I needed to walk around every 2hrs. But the trip wasn't too bad. Tyler was REALLY GOOD in the car. We are thankful that Granna rode in the back seat with him and helped entertain him with snacks, toys and the ever-necessary back-up Thomas the Train DVD, when needed!! Granna isn't riding home with us at the end of the week, so I hope Tyler is as content!!

We made our trip to the grocery and got settled in and that ended day 1. We are looking forward to a great week!
