Wow! I cannot believe 3 months have already passed since you joined our family, Caroline! You are just the sweetest little baby and we feel so incredibly luck that you are ours!
- You are a little thing, as you don't even weigh 9 lbs yet. You are still in newborn and 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.
- We are happy with your nighttime sleep thus far, especially considering your petite size. I am feeding you between 9:30-10p and you will usually sleep until 5-6a, or later if we are lucky. We had a few nightly wake-up calls this month, but not too many.
- Things you LOVE:
- Your swing - we have created quite the little swing monster again! You take every nap in your swing...we swaddle you in the minky blanket Granna made for you and you snooze away.
- You still like being carried in the Ergo when we go places. Some of our friends jokingly swear they have never seen your entire body because you are always snuggled up in the Ergo when they see you. It has been a lifesaver for your Mommy, that is for sure!
- Taking baths - you love to sit in the warm water and look at the lights in the bathroom. You are even tolerating having lotion put on your afterwards and getting into your pjs.
- You love to be talked to. In fact, this alone will usually make
you happy when you are upset. You honestly don't really get upset much except if you are hungry, tired or want some attention. Ha!
- NEW things you've done:
- You have discovered your hands and love to suck on your thumb and fingers!
- You had your first babysitter this month, sweet Micky. She watched you while Mommy went to a camera class and Russ took Tyler to a birthday party. You did great!
- You are super smiley and I just love it. You light up when we talk to you and it seriously makes my day!!
- I just love snuggling with you. Your tiny little head nuzzled in my neck is just about the best feeling there is. I am trying to soak up the sweet snuggles while I can before you are too wiggly.
- Whenever you are held upright, you put your arm over our shoulder like you are hanging on. It is so sweet and makes you seem bigger than you actually are.
- We were stranded at Chick-fil-a earlier this month when we stopped there for lunch. The battery went dead on the car and we had to wait for Daddy to come and jump us. Lucky for me, you were a perfect angel while I ate inside to pass the time.
- You are such a little drool monster!! Your brother drooled some, but nothing like this! You completely soak your dress or shirt in no time.
