Caroline's 2 month checkup

I cannot believe my baby girl is 2 months old already!! Sniff! We went for her 2 month checkup with Dr. H on Monday where she got her first shots. Boo hoo! The checkup went well and it appears we have another 3rd percentile weight baby, just like Tyler. All her other stats look great, so Dr. H says there's no need to worry...she will just be long and skinny! And as we know with big brother, they all fill out and catch up eventually! She is eating at least 6 times a day and taking 3-4 ounces each at each feeding (estimated) so he's happy with that. He was also thrilled with her great sleeping habits so far, as is Mommy! Let's pray it continues!

Here are her stats:

Length: 22", 64th percentile (63rd at 2 weeks)

Weight: 7 lbs., 15oz., 3rd percentile (6th at 2 weeks)
Head circumference: 37 cm., 39th percentile (20th at 2 weeks)

Between now and her 4 month visit, we should be working on tummy time (I have not been as good about doing this with her as I was with Tyler) and practicing reaching for things, like toys dangling from her activity mat and car seat. We can also introduce rice cereal a little closer to the 4 month mark, too.
