This week, Tyler was Family of the Week at school. This meant a few things....we made a special poster to be displayed outside his classroom, he got to take home Freddie the Frog for the week, he was line leader/prayer leader/door holder for the week (pretty big stuff for a 3 year old!) AND we went to read to his class and bring a special snack to share with his friends.
First up, the poster...we made it on Sunday and Tyler helped pick out the pictures he wanted to use. I worked on gluing them to the poster while he napped and then he decorated it with stickers.

Freddie the Frog came home with Tyler for the weekend and the whole week. We were supposed to take pictures and fill out a sheet on all the fun things Freddie did with us at our house to send back on Friday. To be honest, Tyler was not super into Freddie, but Caroline was obsessed! Tyler sweetly let Freddie sleep in her room at night and she carried him around with her EVERYWHERE. I was afraid of what would happen when we had to give him up, but so far so good. The child just loves stuffed animals!

| Freddie made "Dumbo" status with Caroline during the week he was here...which is pretty big! |

| Freddie ate lots of pretend food while he was at our house. |

On Friday of his big week, I read a book to his class. He chose "Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3" and I think the kids really enjoyed it. At the end, we all counted to 100 together. For his special snack, we brought Boom Chicka Pop (popcorn) and M&M's, since popcorn and chocolate are Tyler's favorite! Russ met me there and took all of these fun pictures.
Tyler was the first to get to be Family of the Week in his class and I think he really enjoyed the extra attention. We are so proud of our Star!
