We got there earlier, but with one way in and one way out, parking and traffic was still ridiculous! Our suite was right at the start/finish line, but since it was a road course, you can't see the entire track from our suite. I took Russ and my other VIP customers down early for a tour of pit road and our pit box, like normal. We also we on the grid for driver intros, the National Anthem, the "Drivers, start your engines" call and all the other pre-race traditions.

Road courses are so unpredictable and we finished in the middle of the pack. We left before the race ended to try to avoid some of the traffic. We had a delicious dinner afterwards at a yummy place whose name I can't recall and called it a night. We had an early morning the next day with more fun things planned!!
