Yesterday Pop Pop (my Dad) came in town for a day visit. It has been a while since his last visit, so we were glad to have him.
He joined Russ and Tyler went to Home Depot for their free kids build clinic in the morning where Tyler built a fire rescue plane. I almost had a heart attack when they came home and I saw that it had real paint on it (versus the stickers that the Lowe's projects have had), but apparently Tyler did really great and did not have any paint on him. He was really excited to go and Russ said he is actually getting pretty good with a hammer, for a 2 year old. They were really impressed with the event and said that Home Depot went all out with food and drinks. Pop Pop even painted a pumpkin for Caroline. I think they had a good time.
While they were gone, Caroline took a good nap and I got food ready for our tailgate on Tiger Lane. We planned to actually tailgate for this game and left the house around noon. It was a nice, sunny day, but a little warmer than we thought it was going to be. And I forgot Caroline's hat, but luckily Pop Pop came to the rescue and bought both kids new ones! Tyler especially was super excited for his new Tigers hat. We had fun seeing T.O.M. the Tiger, watching the Tiger Walk (the football players enter the stadium) and seeing the band. We saw lots of friends and Uncle Brian stopped by for a little bit, too.

| Checking out the firetruck...he was particularly clingy to Mommy this day. |
 |
He wanted nothing to do with the bouncy things, but was all into this Tiger head inflatable! He wanted to go in so badly, but it was the entrance to the Alumni tailgate. |

| Pop Pop was happy and content just holding Caroline back at the tailgate. |

| The boys plus Caroline! |
By the time we made it into the game for the 3:30p kick-off, Tyler was wiped since he did not get a nap. So much so, that he fell asleep on me halfway through the first half! Plus, Caroline broke out in a little rash on her face that I was afraid might be heat related. (Turns out it was likely the end of her having roseola...the rash is always the last to appear! Who knew!?) We made it through the band at halftime and headed home. It was a fun day.

A close-up of sweet C's little rash...poor baby. She was also pretty tired here, too, having missed her afternoon nap. |

| At the game. Notice Tyler's hat change, too. :) |
 |
| A passed out Tyler! You know he was exhausted to fall asleep in the middle of all the action! |
