On Saturday night, we went to the Levitt Shell with 2 other families from church, the Whitleys and the Mullets. It was our first time to the Shell with the kids and it was the first time that the Whitleys and the Mullets had been ever. The Shell never disappoints! We love that it is free, that you can bring your own food and drink and that it is kid friendly. And the weather was so wonderfully pleasant and cool.
We got there about an hour before the show started to get our spot, get settled, eat and visit before the music started. The band played popular Big Band style music and it was a lot of fun. The kids had an absolute blast eating junk, running around, rolling down the hill, dancing and being silly. They had so much fun, that sweet Wesleigh fell off Mr. Jeff while he was giving a horsey ride and got a black eye! Poor girl! She said she wanted to go back to the Shell but no more horsey rides! :)

We are looking forward to catching a few other free concerts this fall.
