The first weekend I was gone was pretty low-key since Caroline was sick. The 2nd weekend when everyone was feeling better, they ventured out of the house for a few events. First up, the pancake breakfast at the kids school. Russ said they kids were like bottomless pits, they ate so much. Breakfast foods are some of their favorites so I'm not surprised.
After filling up on pancakes, they headed to Preston's 4th birthday party at ChuckECheese. Apparently the kids had an absolute blast! Tyler spent a lot of time playing in the play structure at first before he discovered the games. Caroline was all over the place and liked climbing up into all the ride-on things, but then immediately wanted down. Ha! She also liked the little slide. Even though they were stuffed from pancakes, they of course saved some room for cake!

After the party and naps, Caroline opened some of her birthday cards she got in the mail and Granna and Russ got some snuggles from the kiddos while they watched a little TV.
