Neighborhood Party

Yesterday afternoon, we had some of our favorite neighbors over as a thank you. All of these dear friends have helped us in some way recently by bringing us food, letting us do laundry at their house, having our crew over for dinner and even helping us program our high tech all-in-one remote! These are some of the sweetest people around and we are SO grateful to know them and call them friends.

Since our kitchen is still not done and I didn't want Russ to have to spend the entire party at the grill, we got BBQ takeout from The Commissary. We set up the little bounce house and the kids had fun jumping, playing on the playset and in the backyard, swimming and splashing in the water table. The party moved to the garage and driveway for bubbles, sidewalk chalk run and races on the ride-on toys around our storage container from our remodel. Even the Dads got in on the fun! Ha!

The adults had fun visiting when we weren't chasing kids and we got lots of compliments on our almost completed kitchen. I felt like I didn't get to complete a thought because Miss Caroline was her wild self and would take off running away from me as fast as she could. Both Tyler and Caroline were filthy went straight to the tub!
