Tyler is 3!!

It is so hard to believe that our little guy is 3 years old and that we have been parents for that long. Tyler is such a funny kid who keeps us on his toes with the things he says and does. He can be very sweet, but also has a bit of a mean streak in him and a temper when he wants his way and doesn't get it. But honestly, what toddler doesn't? He is pretty smart, if I do say so myself, and I am amazed at the things he comes up with and remembers. We are pretty lucky to be parents to such an awesome kiddo!

Again, we celebrated his birthday together as a family early and this was the first year that Tyler actually understood that it was HIS day. I still don't think he knows it was the day he was born, but he definitely knows it's pretty fun and special to be the birthday boy. Our day started by opening a few presents from us and Granna. I tried to keep the gifts to a minimum since he has the huge playset in the backyard. His favorite toy of everything he got was definitely the stomp rocket that Granna gave him! I knew it would be a hit and he just loves it!

Trying out the new scooter!

He is obsessed with clocks and telling time right now, so we gave him a learning clock.
Caroline getting in on the scooter action.
Yes...this is her morning bed-head. Now you know why her hair is always pulled back!
She knew it was a riding toy and plopped right down on the seat. Ha!
The balloons might have been the favorite for both kids! Thanks Cooper and Kalista!
Stomp Rocket fun!

We had cupcakes for breakfast and did a lot of playing outside. It was a great weekend celebrating our big boy! We love you Tyler!

They love playing behind the curtains in Mommy and Daddy's room!

Tyler has a new-found love for swinging and loves to be pushed really high!

This baby girl loves to swing, too. So much so that she has fallen asleep swinging on multiple occasions!
That just can't be comfortable.
Here are a couple more pictures from the night before when we got Chinese takeout for dinner...both kids loved eating my chicken lo mien, but Caroline especially did. Notice the noodle in her hair. HA!
