More Halloween Festivities

We went to our first Trunk-or-Treat this past Friday night at the kid's school. It was the same night as our church's Fall Fun Fest and we chose to do this instead. I think it was the right call for our kids at this age because it was it was a small (compared to Hope's!) with just enough things for them to do...free pizza, inflatables and a DJ. We saw lots of people we knew, so that made it even more fun. Most of the time, our kids just wanted to play on the playground, but Tyler did go down the HUGE inflatable slide!

This pic does not do this justice...this thing was HUGE! He slid down so fast
that I wasn't able to get a picture of him coming down. But he loved it!
Caroline swinging like a big girl! Both kiddos could seriously swing for days, they love it so much.
I was so impressed with all the creative trunks...some people really went all out! Tyler has got the trick-or-treat thing down pretty good, except he always tries to pick the candy out of his basket to see what he got! Ha! Caroline did a little trick-or-treating, but she mainly just people watched. :)

Saturday night, we went to the Liddell Family Halloween party. Kalista and Sloan REALLY know how to throw a fabulous party...there was food that Kalista made in every single room of their gorgeous new house and tons of things for the kids to do. Russ and I dressed up for this party as the Scarecrow and the Tin Man, completing our little Wizard of Oz family of 4. Russ's costume by far was the best and a complete DIY...he really looked great and was a great sport considering it was 80 degrees outside! We stayed out too late, played too hard (the kids were a sweaty, filthy mess!) and had a great time!

This is what Caroline did all. night. long!
Kalista explaining the rules to the Dead Man's Treasure Hunt game.

Ashli and sweet Cooper.
