Zoo Boo Fun

We lucked into some free Zoo Boo tickets and made the last minute decision to take the kids on Sunday night. It was the first time the kids wore their costumes so we thought it would be a good trial run. We took a few pics on the back porch and I am loving my little Dorothy and Cowardly Lion! And, most importantly, they love their costumes, too. The Wizard of Oz is definitely one of our family favorite movies right now. :)

Is she not the cutest little Dorothy ever? Complete with her picnic basket and Toto!

Ready to get in the car.
Running away...Russ had to catch her before she went in the street!
We got there early to get in as soon as it opened at 5:30p to avoid the crowds as much as possible. Our kids love the Zoo and all the things there are to look at normally, but were really mesmerized by all the Halloween decor everywhere. I don't think Caroline spoke for the first hour we were there because she was so distracted by all the people watching and stuff to look at! We trick or treated at all the candy stations, rode the train, went through the hay bale maze, watched the light-up pumpkins (Tyler's favorite!) and walked around.

On the train...she was excitedly pointing to the miniature horses (and calling them puppies!)

When we let her out of the wagon to stretch her legs, she was stomping around like this! Ha!

Caroline knew just what to do to trick-or-treat.
Checking out the spooky graveyard...Tyler was too scared and watched from the wagon.

We were out of there in a little over an hour because we didn't want to get the kids to bed too late. A big thanks to Kristi for the tickets...it was a nice treat!

Oh how I wish this picture wasn't blurry! :(
