We started our weekend with an early morning haircut for Tyler followed by his soccer. It was raining on and off, so they had soccer inside in the gym. It is really nice to have that option!
We headed home to do a little playing then it was time lunch and early naps. When we got up, it was off to hayride with Hope Church freinds at the Whitleys farm. This had become an annual tradition and we were all really glad the rain held off for us to go. As usual, the Whitleys had a fire going to roast hot dogs and marshmallows and they provided drinks and chips, too. We went on a few hayrides driven by Jeffery and the kids loved it. They also had the best time playing in the hay on the back of the wagon when we weren't riding. It became a ship where they collected booty and fought off pirates. I love their imagination at this age!
