Pumpkins!

It's Halloween week and we are getting ready for the big day with lots of pumpkins!

The kids both had their "pumpkin patch" days at school where they get to pick their own mini pumpkin from the playground and decorate it back in their class. celebrated with a Pumpkin patch at school.

They made these cute shirts in class to wear on pumpkin patch day!

We had our annual pumpkin carving night this week, too. Russ and Tyler chose a spooky design and then we got to work. We prepped the space with a big garbage bag and Russ did all the carving while the kids helped out some. Caroline was a little more interested in climbing on top of the counter to play with all the dangerous carving tools. Russ free-handed the design by looking at the template and our pumpkin turned out great! Both kids shirts came off during the carving process because this business is messy!
