Or first Fall weekend is in the books and it was a fun one! We got into the Halloween spirit by breaking out our matching glow-in-the-dark skeleton pajamas. Caroline loved that hers are purple and Tyler was obsessed to see his glow! Caroline is also obsessed with her "princess" right now...aka her crown. She has to wear it to bed every. single. night! It is so cute!
We started out getting pancakes across the street at CBHS at the Kiwanis pancake breakfast and then we all headed over to watch Tyler play soccer. Tyler was excited to play since he missed 2 weeks while we were at the beach. (Green jacket below)

Tyler became obsessed that he was the goalie for the rest of the game and would not get out of the goal! |
After soccer and a quick clothes change in the back of my car, we made the drive out to Priddy Farms to celebrate Margo's 2nd birthday. We were a little late since we came from soccer, but we made it in plenty of time to play for a little bit before we celebrated with mini bundt cakes and "Happy Birthday". After the party was officially over, we hung around a little longer and rode the train and took the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. The kids had an absolute blast!

Later that night after naps and dinner, we enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit!
Sunday morning was spent at church and Sunday school. When I went to pick up Caroline from her room, the girls in her class were panicked that she had gotten into a covered activity center with birdseed. They were afraid she had eaten some and was having an allergic reaction since the area around her lips was swollen and red. I quickly texted my sanity Aunt/Dr. Elisha and she said to watch her, but that it looked like "lip lickers syndrome" and yes..that is a real thing. That is in fact what it was...our Crazy Caroline has been licking her lips all around and they are severely chapped! Geez kid - it is always something!
 |
| Not a great pic,but you can see the rash a little around her mouth. |
We took it easy the rest of the afternoon, napping and getting things done around our house before another work week began.
