After lunch, we took the traditional grandkid pictures on the sofa. This year Tyler decided to cooperate, but Caroline was not having it! :)

Rachel is the oldest Grand so she snuck in to hold Caroline...who was REALLY over it!
The adults play Dirty Santa every year and it is usually pretty cut-throat. The guys went first and Russ stole a Roku wireless streaming device you plug into your TV. He got that after a fishing tackle box was stolen from him. The girls were really tame this year and there was no stealing at all! I picked and kept my own gift...a pair of Kendra Scott blush and gold earrings, Ha! It was a really fun day visiting with family.
On our way home, we decided to go to Starry Nights with the kids. I have said it already, but they are both so into Christmas lights this season, so we knew that they would love it! We got in the line about 6p and to wait around 45 minutes. Luckily, they were happy watching "The Wizard of Oz" in the backseat. Once we got closer, we moved the kids into the front seat with us. We rolled the windows down for a better view and Tyler was SO excited to help Daddy drive.
I don't even know how to describe the night except to say it was magical. They were screaming and shouting about every. single. thing! Caroline was so excited that at one point she tried to climb out of the window to get to the lights!! She also tried to climb up onto the dashboard, too. Silly girl! We opened the sunroof towards the end of the drive and let Tyler stand on the console to see out. His face was priceless. Of course, Caroline kept saying "I see" over and over, so I had to hoist her up to see out the roof, too. The absolutely loved every second!
This girl was hanging out the window the whole time. She also liked looking at herself in the side mirror. :)
This was my favorite...an animated fisherman catching a fish!
Tyler LOVING looking at the lights from the sun roof!
Since it was late and it had already been a long day. we opted not to stop and visit Mistletoe Village. I think it was the right call, as we still had to skip baths and got the kids to bed a little late. The line was 4x as long when we left as it was when we got there. So crazy!
