Zoo Lights

We took the kids to Zoo Lights for the first time on Friday night. FedEx is a sponsor and I was excited to get tickets. We tried to go last week, but the rain kept us away and we had a very disappointed 3 year old. This night was cold and a little drizzly, but that did not stop us. We rode the tram about halfway through the lights...Caroline and Tyler both were oooohing and ahhhhing over everything they saw. Actually, Caroline always says "WHOA!!" super loudly when she sees lights and will continue to say "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" until I address her and then she says "WHOA!" again. Ha! This is such a fun age because THESE KIDS LOVE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!

Giant tree at the entrance!

They had SNOW!
(It was a pretend sudsy-like snow, but it was pretty and fun to see!)

We hopped off the tram to check out the reindeer. Tyler decided that the smaller of the 2 of them was Rudolph. :) Then we rode the carousel, which Caroline absolutely loved so much that she did not want to get off! They both loved running through the tunnel of lights, too. Tyler got to pet a turtle and we all rode the North Pole Express. It was a fun night!

Checking out the reindeer.

Running around the zoo and the lights.
This was the first time we did not take a wagon or stroller with us.

Tunnel of lights!

Checking out a turtle.
He wanted to touch his feet, but was only allowed to touch his shell.
So excited to ride the North Pole Express train!
Big girl sat on the seat by Daddy on the train!

Yes, it says no climbing on the animals...and they weren't...
they were climbing on their concrete bases! :)
