The Sunday before Christmas is always the Brasfield family celebration in Jackson. The day started off crazy with me getting the time wrong and us being almost an hour late. Oops! And we played catch-up the entire time once we got there, trying to hurry up and eat before all the present-opening chaos ensued.
We tried to take a group picture before opening gifts and everyone cooperated except for Tyler, who decided he wanted to roll around on the floor. Oh, the drama! There are 11 little cousins and we all drew names so we only had to buy for 2 other kids. Our kids had fun opening gifts...Caroline just wanted to play with the paper and Tyler wanted to open everything right then! I got an awesome Ronaldo bracelet from Nana...she always gives me the best jewelry! Both kids got super cute outfits and Tyler is loving his new mega blocks table. Russ got a new tailgate game that he is excited to try out.

| ...That's because our kid was rolling around on the floor refusing to be in the picture! Ugh! |
 |
| I stole this from Re-Re's Facebook page because it best showed this situation...oh the drama! |

| He was all smiles when we said it was present time. |

After the kids opened all their gifts, the adults did our dirty Santa gift exchange. The girls went first and I got my gifts stolen from me about 5 times, I think. It was crazy! But, I ended up with an awesome bracelet from Bella Vita in the end, so all was well. Plus, Russ was trying to feed Caroline and then Tyler shattered a glass jar of baby food all over the floor to top things off. Good times! The guy gift swap was a little more calm and Russ ended up getting his own gift (which was actually very popular!)

We left Nana and Pop's with Tyler throwing one of the biggest fits of his LIFE! He was out of control. Tantrums upon exit seem to be our tradition lately...I hope this is a short-lived phase. Needless to say, we had fun with the Brasfields, as always, and came home with way too much stuff!
