Griswold the Elf antics

Griswold our Elf has gone back to the North Pole until next year. Tyler was not super into him this year, but I think he will be next year. At times, he was definitely still a little scared I think, which is maybe what has prompted Tyler wanting me to carry him (and Caroline) into the kitchen in the mornings. He did always want to go find Griswold, but sometimes he was not happy with what he was doing. Namely, when Griswold was sitting at our kitchen table (where he was eating) or playing with his toys. Ha! Here are a few things Griswold was up to at our house this year.

Hanging out in the Advent calendar
Playing with blocks
Reading a book

Zip-lining across the den

Visiting the baby Jesus
Playing cars and trucks...Tyler was NOT super excited to share with Griswold here...
Coloring a picture
Feeding Bonnie

Hanging on Tyler's art wall
In the fridge with Tyler's milk.

Taking a marshmallow bubble bath
Eating breakfast with Griswold (before Tyler made me move him into the dining room).
Jumping on Caroline's jumperoo
Fishing

Supervising the trains
Marshmallow snowball fight!
Since we left for Clarksville on Christmas Eve, Griswold did not make the trip with us and Tyler has been asking where he went now that we are back home. He may be a little timid of him, but he still really enjoyed finding him in the mornings. Nonetheless, I suspect Griswold will be back next year. If you ask him now, Tyler will tell that Christmas is over and that Griswold has gone to the North Pole. Ha!
