Family time at Christmas

We spent the rest of out Christmas break relaxing, visiting, eating and playing with our new toys and gifts. It was wonderful! People always ask me when we will stop going to Clarksville for holidays and spend them in Memphis. I am not sure of the answer, but I sure do love doing nothing once all the work of getting there with everything is over!!

This was a gift for Caroline but Tyler absolutely LOVES it!

Climbing on her chair

Daddy referring so both of them could play with the ball popper.
Baby girl using a sippy cup for the first time.
She was not a huge fan and did not drink very much from it.
Tyler playing with his new penguin dream light before a nap. He was spoiled by
Granna and took most of his naps and slept at night in bed with her. He loved it!
These rocking chairs were mine and Brian's when we were little!!
Helping Granna squish down the trash. He saw her doing it, so he wanted to help. Ha!
He saw this train set in the garage when they took the trash out, so they set it up in the kitchen!
We took Tyler to see "Frozen" which was SUCH a cute movie! I loved the music so much that I bought the soundtrack. There was lot of singing so Russ was not as excited about it. He said the preview with the moose and the snowman was very misleading - Ha!

Joe and Kathleen came by for a visit Friday night and we enjoyed exchanging gifts and playing our new game "Settlers of Cataan". Our family is a sucker for board games and this one, while a little difficult to learn and setup at first, did not disappoint!!
Picture with Joe and Kat before they headed home! We can't wait to celebrate their wedding in June!

We headed home on Saturday, where lots of  purging and organizing of new toys, cleaning and laundry awaited. Russ goes back to work tomorrow and the kids are going to daycare so I have Monday and Tuesday to put Christmas away and prep for the painters who start on Thursday - eekkk! So excited!
